Winter tends to be cold, but invigorating

Snow usually falls throughout the season, providing the ski resorts with much business. This isn’t Val d’Isere, but is still very popular with mostly local afficionados. It’s good family skiing with green, red and blue runs.

The villa is gloriously warm with gas central heating, and of course the log fire - it may be a bit chilly to collect the wood from the store, but well worth it once the fire is lit.

We have had many a cosy afternoon watching the snow fall and never tire of the view of the Sibillini mountains as the clouds gather and give us their latest composition of clear skies and dark snow-full clouds.
